Way back in the late 90’s, armed with only a handful of tools, two eager sons, just enough knowledge and a huge amount of determination, Steve Ensor set about building his own furniture business supplying handmade pieces to local customers in and around Herefordshire.

Whilst quietly building a reputation for well made fitted furniture and gaining the experience of bespoke cabinet making, the decision was made to expand the business and take on the kitchen industry. Within the first year, Steve and his two sons, Alex and Russell realised that bespoke kitchen cabinet making was what they did best. A small showroom in Leominster was set up, a move to a bigger workshop and Steve’s wife, Ruth joining the team and RA Kitchens was born.

Things have changed a little over the last 20 years. Our kitchens are now found in homes all over the country, our work force has grown and now includes, among many of our skilled craftsmen, Jack, Steve and Ruth’s youngest son. One thing that still remains unchanged through the years is our passion for building beautiful kitchens and our commitment to provide every customer with a unique experience from start to finish.

Cotswold Motor Group is a privately owned business with BMW and MINI Retail Centres in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, offering vehicle sales and a comprehensive aftersales service. Accompanying these Retail Centres is Cotswold Group Bodyshop in Tewkesbury.
